Now Ronaldo can fully focus on football.

Details: Today it was announced that the 41-year-old forward of Saudi club Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, has managed to avoid prison in Spain after being accused of tax fraud back in 2019.

The legal proceedings lasted more than seven years, but the hearing itself took just 45 minutes. Ultimately, Ronaldo was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine of €18.8 million, along with a suspended 23-month prison sentence.

Ronaldo's reaction was telling: he left the courthouse with his wife Georgina, beaming, and headed straight to his car.

This season, Ronaldo has played 26 matches for Saudi side Al Nassr, scoring 22 goals and providing 4 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
