Franco Colapinto shares his impressions of his Alpine Formula 1 debut
Formula 1 sensation Franco Colapinto has finally made his debut for Alpine as the team's main driver. After the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, the Argentine shared his feelings about the race on his Instagram page.
Colapinto posted several photos from the recent Grand Prix and reflected on his emotions surrounding his debut.
"We’re learning to understand the car better with every turn and making progress day by day. It feels amazing to be back and to race these first weekends with @alpinef1team. There’s still a lot to improve, but we have a solid foundation to build on. Let’s go! More Argentinians in Italy than ever before!! Thank you all for coming ❤️," wrote Franco.
Colapinto also expressed gratitude to his compatriots who traveled to Imola to support him: "Thank you to all the Argentinians who came to cheer us on, you are number one. I loooove you all."
It should be noted that Franco Colapinto’s debut didn’t go entirely as planned. He was involved in a crash during qualifying, and in the main race he failed to score any points, ultimately finishing only 16th overall.
