Franco Colapinto reacts to his performance at the Monaco Grand Prix

Formula 1 star Franco Colapinto has shared his thoughts on his performance at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Argentinian posted his reflections on his Instagram page.

Colapinto uploaded photos from the race, captioning them: “Monaco Grand Prix 💫 Tough weekend, but we’re always making progress. Back to work so we can come back stronger next week. 👊🏼 Thank you @alpinef1team.”

It’s worth noting that the Alpine driver once again failed to score any points. Colapinto finished the race in 13th place, two laps behind the winner. Yet, compared to his teammate Pierre Gasly, Franco’s performance could be considered fairly successful. The Frenchman failed to finish the race at all, ending up 20th.

The winner of the Monaco Grand Prix was Lando Norris, who claimed his first-ever victory at this circuit. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari crossed the line in second, with Oscar Piastri taking the final podium spot in third.

In the championship standings, Colapinto remains 20th out of 21 drivers, still searching for his first points. Oscar Piastri of McLaren continues to lead the overall standings, but his teammate Lando Norris is closing in, now just three points behind the Australian.
