France's top clubs interested in Euro 2024 top scorer

Georgian national team striker Georges Mikautadze has already emerged as one of the standout revelations of Euro 2024 and is certain to change clubs after the tournament.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, two top French clubs, Monaco and Lens, have already contacted the representatives of the Metz forward regarding a transfer. Monaco is considered the favorite in the race for Mikautadze.

At Euro 2024, Mikautadze has scored three goals, making him the top scorer of the tournament's group stage. Georgia, sensationally advancing to the Round of 16, will face Spain on Sunday, June 30.

Mikautadze began the past season at Ajax but struggled to settle in the crisis-hit Amsterdam club. He then returned to Metz, where he scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 20 Ligue 1 matches. However, this was not enough to prevent Metz from being relegated to Ligue 2.
