France's prize money for winning Euro 2024 has been decided

It has been revealed how much the players of the French national team could earn if they win the upcoming Euro 2024 championship.

According to L'Equipe, in case of triumph, each player of the French national team will receive €470,000. This is less than what the players earned for reaching the final of the 2022 World Cup. Back then, each of them earned €490,000.

The French national team has been the strongest in Europe twice in its history. This first occurred in 1984, and the most recent time was in 2000.

In the previous Euro 2020, Didier Deschamps' team sensationally exited in the round of 16, losing to the Swiss national team.

During the group stage of Euro 2024, France will face the national teams of the Netherlands, Poland, and Austria. Their first match will be on June 17 against Austria.
