France to replace Russia at the Milan Olympic Games


Today, the French Ice Hockey Federation announced that "Les Tricolores" have officially become participants in the Winter Olympics.
Details: The participation of both the French men's and women's national hockey teams at the Olympic Games had long been discussed, as they were expected to replace the disqualified Russian team, which was suspended due to military aggression. Today, this information received official confirmation.
For the "Musketeers," the upcoming Olympics will mark their first appearance since 2002, while the French women's team will make its historic debut at the Games.
In the group stage draw, France was placed alongside Canada, Czechia, and Switzerland. The tournament is set to kick off on February 6, 2026, in Milan.
