Ligue 1 club Rennes has completed its second major transfer of the current winter window.
Details: Rennes officially announced today the signing of France international goalkeeper Brice Samba from Lens.
The transfer fee is reported to be €15 million, with Samba signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2029.
Rennes' management has been dissatisfied with the performances of 39-year-old Steve Mandanda this season, and Samba is expected to replace him as the first-choice goalkeeper.
Reminder: Earlier in the window, Rennes also signed former Lens captain Seko Fofana from Al-Nassr.
