Four Wimbledon matches halted simultaneously. The reason is revealed

One of tennis’s premier tournaments—Wimbledon—has just gotten underway. On Wednesday, July 2, numerous matches were being played, but several had to be stopped.

Details: four matches were suspended and rescheduled. The reason? Darkness descended, making it increasingly difficult for the players to continue.

The following pairs will not finish their matches today: Grani/Rinderknech, Fritz/Diallo, Auger-Aliassime/Struff, and Fery/Darderi.

Incidentally, Wimbledon has recently been hit again by the rains that prevail in London at this time of year. All matches on the outdoor courts in the 1/32 finals, which were supposed to have already started, have been postponed indefinitely.
