Four players set to leave: Arsenal finalizes summer sale list

London Arsenal has decided who will be shown the exit in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, four players no longer fit into Mikel Arteta’s plans. The club will attempt to sell goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, midfielders Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson, and forward Eddie Nketiah this summer.

Notably, aside from Ramsdale, who lost his place to David Raya last season, all the other players are graduates of Arsenal’s academy.

Ramsdale played 11 matches across all competitions in the 2023/24 season. Smith Rowe and Nelson made 19 and 24 appearances respectively, while Nketiah managed to score only 6 goals in 37 games.

It was previously reported that Arsenal will offer head coach Mikel Arteta a new contract with a record salary, making the 42-year-old one of the highest-paid managers in England.

Last season, the Gunners fought for the Premier League title until the final matchday but ultimately lost the trophy to Manchester City.
