In January 2023, four Atletico Madrid supporters displayed a dummy of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior near the training ground of Los Blancos. Their act did not go unnoticed by law enforcement authorities.

Details: For this incident, which also featured a 16-meter banner reading "Madrid hates Real," one member of the radical Atletico fan group was sentenced to 15 months in prison for inciting hatred and an additional seven months for issuing threats.

The other three individuals involved, according to The Athletic, each received 14-month prison sentences. If they complete an anti-discrimination course, their sentences will be suspended and replaced with probation. The first defendant was also fined €1,084, while the other three were each ordered to pay €720 to the state treasury.

All four are banned from approaching within one kilometer of Vinicius Junior's residence and Real Madrid's Valdebebas training facility.

Reminder: In May, five Real Valladolid fans were sentenced to one year in prison for also abusing the Real Madrid star.
