Drivers were shown the red flag, signaling the suspension of the event due to heavy rain—a direct threat considering the speed and mechanical dynamics of the cars.
Initially, race officials planned to restart after a 10-minute pause, but later decided there would be no restart.
Mari Boya was declared the winner, leading the field at the moment the race was stopped.
