Alonso reposted a publication congratulating Alcaraz on his Roland Garros win, tagged him, and added emojis of applause, the Spanish flag, and a gold medal.

For the record, Carlos Alcaraz clinched a dramatic victory yesterday in the Roland Garros final, defeating Italian Jannik Sinner in a thrilling five-set battle. Notably, this marks Alcaraz’s second consecutive Roland Garros title. He also boasts two Wimbledon crowns and captured the US Open championship in 2022.

It’s worth noting that Formula 1 drivers had a break this weekend, with the next Grand Prix set for Canada next weekend. Prior to that, the Spanish Grand Prix took place in Barcelona, where Alonso, on his home circuit, finally secured his first points of the season by finishing ninth and collecting 2 points.
