Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior was clearly tuned in to the electrifying men’s singles final at the Roland Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament. The footballer took to his Instagram Stories to share his reaction to the epic showdown.

Vinícius reposted Alcaraz’s photo with the trophy, captioning it with a single word—“Madness”—and added a mind-blown emoji for emphasis.

It’s no surprise the Brazilian was stunned by the match, as the Spaniard pulled off an incredible comeback against world number one Jannik Sinner of Italy. Alcaraz dropped the first two sets and was on the brink of defeat in the third, but managed to completely turn the match around.

Notably, this final became the longest in Roland Garros Open Era history—lasting a marathon 5 hours and 32 minutes.

Meanwhile, Vinícius Júnior and the Brazil national team couldn’t secure a win against Ecuador in their 2026 World Cup qualifying match, which ended in a goalless 0-0 draw. Incidentally, it marked Carlo Ancelotti’s debut as Brazil’s head coach.
