The former world champion in the heavyweight division, Tony Bellew, is deeply concerned about Mike Tyson's condition ahead of his bout against Jake Paul.

In a commentary for TalkSport, the Briton said that he was a little scared of the situation, as "Iron Mike" was returning to the ring against a man who was 31 years younger than him.

"Personally, it worries me, but, listen, you don't know what these two have agreed upon. It's scary that Mike is returning to the ring against a guy who is over 30 years younger than him. It's just madness," stated Tony Bellew.

He hopes that the fight will be theatrical and somewhat scripted. The former world champion does not want Mike to suffer any harm.

"Let's see what happens. He will be paid a lot of money, and no one has the right to stop him from doing it," added the Briton.

It's worth noting that Mike Tyson's bout against Jake Paul may be canceled if the legendary boxer fails to pass an unusual test stipulated in the fight rules.

Tyson and Paul are scheduled to face off in a boxing match on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA, as the main event of the card, which will be broadcast on Netflix. It was previously reported that the fight would be sanctioned as a professional one. By the time of stepping into the ring, Mike Tyson will be 58 years old, which is 31 years older than Paul.
