The boxer bout between the legendary Mike Tyson and the blogger Jake Paul is likely to be officially sanctioned as a professional fight. Journalist Michael Benson reported this, citing insider Ariel Helwani.

It is noted that the final decision on this matter will be made by the Texas Commission.

The fight itself is scheduled for July 20 and is set to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, USA. The grand event will be available for live streaming on the Netflix streaming service.

The legendary Iron Mike has not stepped into the ring since 2020 when he had an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. That bout ended in a draw by split decision.

Blogger Jake Paul began participating in boxing matches in 2020 following his brother Logan. In his first bout against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, Paul won by knockout. On March 3, Paul knocked out Ryan Bursland in the first round.
