Spain is on the verge of another racism scandal, this time involving former Valencia president Paco Roig, who made racially charged comments aimed at Real Madrid.
Details: Roig focused on the presence of Black players in Real Madrid’s squad and specifically targeted Vinícius Júnior with offensive remarks.
Quote:
"I call Madrid the Real Immigrant. Madrid has eight blacks, two white foreigners and one Spaniard, Carvajal.
Vinicius may be a great player, which I believe he is, but he is a sh*tty person".
Reminder: Vinícius Júnior has previously stated that if Spain does not address its racism problem, it should be stripped of the right to host the 2030 World Cup. The Brazilian forward has frequently been the target of racist abuse at away matches.
