Former Tottenham president awarded CBE
From 2001 to 2025, Daniel Levy served as president of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. He has now received one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious honours.
Details: As reported by The Athletic, Daniel Levy was awarded the CBE in the New Year Honours list. It is the highest distinction below a knighthood. He received the award for his services to charity and the Tottenham community.
In August 2019, what is widely regarded as Levy’s flagship project was unveiled: Tottenham’s stadium, built at a cost of one billion pounds sterling and with a capacity of 62,000 spectators.
On 4 September 2025, the club officially announced on its website that Daniel Levy was stepping down as chairman.
Reminder: Former Liverpool, Tottenham and England national team defender Steven Caulker ended his professional football career at the age of 33.
