Former PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico has continued his career in the Qatar Championship

Experienced Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico, who has been a free agent since June, has finally secured a new club.
Details: Qatari club Al-Gharafa has officially announced the signing of Sergio Rico. The contract with the Spanish shot-stopper is set for one year, with an option to extend for an additional season.
The player has already arrived in Qatar and will begin training with his new teammates in the coming days.
Reminder: Earlier this summer, Spain's national team striker Joselu also joined Al-Gharafa, having spent the previous season at Real Madrid.
In Europe, Sergio Rico is best known for his stints with PSG, Mallorca, and Sevilla, where he famously won the UEFA Europa League three times with the Andalusian club.
Rico missed most of last season due to a severe head injury sustained in a horseback riding accident.
