Former Premier League Footballer Causso Darame Jailed for Knife Attack on Teenager
Former Swansea City player Causso Darame has been sentenced to prison for assaulting and robbing a teenager.
Details: According to The Mirror, the incident occurred on May 12 of last year. Darame carried out a violent knife attack on the teenager and robbed him. The former footballer was armed with a large hunting knife and stole the victim’s chain and bracelet.
The victim, identified as Evans, was with a friend when they encountered Darame. The footballer chased them, shouting, "I will catch you, and when I do, I’ll kill you." Evans suffered severe blood loss from knife wounds and stated that he is now paralyzed below the knee, requiring a leg brace to walk.
Additionally, Darame was sentenced to 28 months in prison after police found heroin and cocaine worth £1,000 in his possession in August of last year.
