Former Manchester United sporting director Ashworth to join Al-Nassr

Last December, Dan Ashworth was dismissed from Manchester United, but he won't be out of work for long.

Details: According to Gianluigi Longari, Ashworth will become the new sporting director of Al Nassr this summer, the team where the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo plays.

In this role, the 54-year-old Englishman will replace Fernando Hierro, who had disagreements with Al Nassr's management.

Before Manchester United, Ashworth successfully worked at Newcastle.

After 25 rounds, Al Nassr is only in third place in the Saudi Pro League, trailing leaders Al Ittihad by 10 points.

Reminder: Yesterday, it was revealed about Al Nassr's interest in Arsenal's center-back Gabriel Magalhães.
