Former Flamengo goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes, who was found guilty of murder in 2010, is now preparing to resume his football career.

Details: According to ge.globo, the goalkeeper was convicted in 2010 for the murder of his girlfriend and was sentenced to 22 years in prison. However, he has since been granted parole. He has now been registered with Vasco-AC in the CBF’s BID system.

Bruno Fernandes could make his debut as early as the night of Friday, 20 February.

Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho has officially approached his club with a request to terminate his contract prematurely. Head coach Fernando Diniz attempted to persuade him to stay, but the player remains firm in his decision.

Reminder: The 33-year-old Manchester United and Brazil defender stunned fans by revealing that throughout his professional career he has played under a misspelled version of his name.
