Former head coach of Chelsea and legendary English footballer Frank Lampard is rumored to be in talks to take over the helm at Oxford United, a club competing in League One, the third tier of English football.
Lampard's most recent coaching position was at Chelsea. Following Graham Potter's dismissal, he was appointed as the interim coach and given a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season. After its conclusion, Frank Lampard has yet to secure a new managerial role.
In addition to Chelsea, Lampard has also managed Derby County and Everton.
In October, it was reported that Frank declined the opportunity to become the head coach of Rangers.
