Former Cameroon national team forward Choupo-Moting will continue his career in MLS
Cameroonian striker Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting has had a successful career in Europe, but since the summer of this year, he has been without a club. However, he is set to sign with a new team in the near future.
Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, Choupo-Moting will continue his career in Major League Soccer (MLS).
In the coming days, Choupo-Moting will sign a contract with New York Red Bulls. The deal will run for two seasons.
Choupo-Moting's last club was Bayern Munich, where he played since October 2020. In 122 appearances for the Bavarians, he scored 38 goals and provided 13 assists.
Previously, Choupo-Moting also played for PSG, Stoke City, Mainz, Schalke, and Hamburg.
New York Red Bulls are still fighting for the MLS Cup this season. In the playoff semifinals, the Red Bulls will face Orlando City.
