Former british swimmer sentenced to 21 yars for raping minors
Former British swimming team member Anthony James has been sentenced by the Plymouth court to 21 years in prison for raping two underage girls, as reported by The Sun.
It is reported that between 2012 and 2022, James subjected two girls, initially under 16, to sexual violence. Additionally, he requested them to send him explicit images and videos of a sexual nature.
The man was arrested in 2022, and the trial has been ongoing since then. He denied the rape charges, claiming that the sexual encounters with the girls were consensual. James only admitted to the charge of producing child pornography (four videos and seven photographs).
It is noted that the man also boasted about having threesomes with the girls, tying and choking them, and allegedly forced one of them to engage in sex with other men.
In addition to the prison term, James will also be placed on the sex offender registry for life.
