Former Barcelona presidential candidate Víctor Font sued by Deco

Barcelona's sporting director, legendary former footballer Deco, has filed a lawsuit against former presidential candidate Víctor Font.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, the issue stems from Font’s criticism of Barcelona’s signing of Vitor Roque. He claimed that Deco had recommended the club sign the 19-year-old Brazilian even before officially joining the club’s management. Font's comments implied possible abuse of power by Deco.

However, the Portuguese director was never Roque’s agent, as that role was handled by André Cury. Upon learning of these accusations, Deco consulted his lawyers and decided to take legal action against Víctor Font.
