Former Assistant to Ancelotti, Tassotti, to Lead Milan if Conceição is Sacked

Milan is faltering in the second half of the season, and the future of head coach Sérgio Conceição is in doubt.

Details: According to Sport Mediaset, Milan's management has already decided who will replace Conceição if he is dismissed.

Until the end of the season, Mauro Tassotti, who was Carlo Ancelotti's assistant at Milan for many years, may take over coaching duties. He later served as an assistant to Andriy Shevchenko with the Ukrainian national team and Genoa. Currently, the 65-year-old coach is working with Milan Futuro.

It is expected that Conceição may be dismissed if Milan fails to beat Lazio this weekend.

After 26 Serie A rounds, Milan is only in eighth place, trailing the top four by 8 points.

Conceição only replaced Paulo Fonseca as Milan's head coach earlier this year.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Xavi is the favorite for the Milan head coach position this summer.
