Xavi Emerges as Favorite for AC Milan Head Coach Position

AC Milan is still on the hunt for a head coach for the next season. Paulo Fonseca was dismissed due to poor results, and his successor, Sérgio Conceição, had a promising start by winning the Italian Super Cup. However, as subsequent events showed, the team's issues were not resolved.

Details. According to El Nacional, Conceição will have to significantly improve results to continue leading the Rossoneri. The club already has a candidate in mind who seems much more convincing for the board of directors.

That candidate is Xavi Hernandez, who has been out of work since leaving Barcelona almost a year ago. It was initially expected that he would have no particular trouble returning to manage a new team, and he has been the subject of numerous rumors and speculations.

The opportunity to move to Milan and manage one of the most iconic teams on the planet seems to entice Xavi, who is patiently awaiting a call from San Siro.

Reminder. It was previously reported that Xavi could become the successor to Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.
