Real Madrid is renowned for snapping up young players for astronomical sums. Some, like Vinícius Júnior or Rodrygo, manage to break through, but not everyone is so fortunate.
Details: Take 23-year-old midfielder Reinier, for example. Since joining Real Madrid in January 2020, he has been on a constant loan carousel. Last year, he still joined the first team for training sessions, but according to Marca, new head coach Xabi Alonso has no intention of counting on the Brazilian.
Reinier has been trying to revive his career with a series of loan spells, but his stint at Granada last season offered little to celebrate. In 25 matches in the Segunda, he managed just one goal and four assists. Now, Reinier is back in Brazil, waiting for offers. His contract with Real Madrid runs for another year.
