The weather conditions in the Faroe Islands have brought major adjustments to the Europa League qualification calendar.

Details: The second leg of the Europa League third qualifying round between KI Klaksvik and Lech Poznań will not take place at the originally scheduled time. By UEFA's decision, the match has been moved to Friday, August 14. Kick-off is set for 20:00 Polish time (19:00 local time).

The reason for the postponement was adverse weather on the Faroes. Due to thick fog, the archipelago's only airport, Vágar, was unable to receive planes for an extended period, causing severe logistical headaches for the Polish side. The Lech charter with the players circled over the sea before being forced to land in Bergen, Norway, resulting in the squad arriving at the match venue with a significant delay.

It's worth noting that the first leg in Poznań ended in a 1-0 victory for Lech, thanks to a goal from Jannik Agnero in the 81st minute. The winner of this tie will advance to the Europa League qualification play-off round.

Reminder: The match is in danger! Lech Poznań and Klaksvík may not play tomorrow in the Europa League
