Last week, from April 11th to 14th, one of the four major tournaments, the Masters, took place at the National Golf Club in Augusta.

For the second time in three years, American golfer Scottie Scheffler emerged as the winner of the competition. He finished the tournament with a score of -11, above par. Going into the final round, he started with a score of -7, and throughout the final round, Scheffler alternated between extending his lead and allowing his opponents to come closer. However, Scottie made birdies on the 13th, 14th, and 16th holes, making himself unreachable for his competitors. Overall, he completed the tournament with 277 strokes.

Ludvig Aberg finished in second place with a score of -7, above par. In third place, there were three golfers: Homa, Fleetwood, and Morikawa, all with a score of -4, above par.

By the way, this is Scheffler's second Masters title; he previously won in 2022.

It's worth noting that Scheffler recently achieved another historic feat. He won THE PLAYERS Championship for the second consecutive year. Remarkably, he became the first golfer in the 50-year history of the tournament to successfully defend his title.
