Defender Axel Disasi has rejoined Chelsea's first-team training.

Details: At the pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea's Champions League Matchday 7 clash against Pafos, Londoners' head coach Liam Rosenior confirmed that the team's centre-back Axel Disasi is now training with the main squad.

It is worth noting that Disasi spent the first half of the season training with Chelsea's reserves and even featured in several matches for the U21 side.

"I had a very good conversation with him. I told the players that everyone starts with a clean slate, and I thought it was right to speak to him," Rosenior said.

Rosenior added that Disasi is currently behind in terms of fitness:

"He is behind in terms of conditioning, and we will work with him to help him catch up."

It should be noted that tomorrow, January 21, Chelsea will play a Champions League match against Cypriot side Pafos, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior revealed which players will miss the UEFA Champions League due to injury.
