Arsenal defeated Bayern Munich 3–1 in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League, and the victory proved to be a historic one for the Gunners.

Details: According to Opta, for the first time since the 2005/06 season, the London side have won their opening five matches of a UEFA Champions League campaign. That season, the team went on to reach the final. Arsenal are now the only club to have won all five of their group-stage fixtures.

The Gunners sit atop the standings with 15 points after five rounds. PSG, Bayern Munich, Inter and Real Madrid each have 12.
