"For me, there is no problem extending the contract for another year and a half" – Flick comments on his future at Barcelona
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has addressed the situation regarding his future and the possibility of extending his contract with the Catalan club.
Details: At the pre-match press conference, Hansi Flick stated that a year and a half is already a significant period for any coach. Flick also emphasized that he is completely satisfied with his work at the club and the atmosphere within the team.
"A year and a half is a long time for a coach. I am very happy to work at this club, together with Deco and the entire staff," Flick noted.
The coach made special mention of his technical staff and sporting director.
"My coaching staff is excellent, Deco is an outstanding person, and we have a great working relationship," he added.
Flick also highlighted the importance of trust from the club's management.
"I am here for the president, and his trust is very important. For me, there is no problem continuing for another year and a half, but this also depends on whether the president remains in his position," said the Barcelona manager.
It is worth noting that after seventeen rounds, Barcelona leads La Liga, four points ahead of Real, with the next match scheduled for tomorrow, December 21, against Villarreal.
Reminder: Pedri will miss the match against Villarreal. The reason is known.
