Netflix, widely known as a go-to platform for movies and series, will soon expand into live football streaming—though not immediately and for a limited time.
Details: According to a FIFA press release, the popular streaming service will become the exclusive broadcaster of two Women's World Cups (2027 and 2031) in the United States. In addition to live match coverage, Netflix will produce a documentary series leading up to both tournaments.
This deal marks the platform’s latest step into sports, aligning with its strategy of offering exclusive content unavailable elsewhere.
