OFFICIAL: Netflix to Release a Documentary on Vinícius Júnior in 2025

Streaming giant Netflix has announced a documentary film about Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior, set for release in 2025.

Details: The documentary will explore the life and footballing career of the Brazilian winger, while also addressing issues such as racism in football and the ongoing fight for justice in the sport.

Background: Netflix has previously produced acclaimed documentaries on iconic athletes, including The Last Dance about Michael Jordan, Ronaldo featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, and Messi: The Movie about Lionel Messi.

Noteworthy: Vinícius recently finished second in the 2024 Ballon d’Or race, losing out to Manchester City midfielder Rodri, despite being considered a favorite for the award.

Real Madrid insiders reportedly believe that UEFA played a role in Vinícius’s defeat, allegedly as part of retaliation against the club for its involvement in organizing the European Super League.
