Fonseca doesn't need an experienced Milan defender

The 33-year-old defender Alessandro Florenzi may leave AC Milan during the summer transfer window, according to Italian football journalist Nicolo Schira.
It is noted that the experienced defender is not part of the plans of the new Rossoneri head coach, Paulo Fonseca.
In 2021, Milan loaned Florenzi from Roma and subsequently purchased his contract outright.
Last season, the former Italy national team player (49 caps, 2 goals) played 40 matches for the Rossoneri across all competitions, scoring 1 goal and providing 7 assists.
Additionally, yesterday, Milan extended the contract of the youngest player in Serie A history and the record holder for the UEFA European Under-19 Championships.
Moreover, Milan has finally found a replacement for their main striker Olivier Giroud, who moved to LAFC as a free agent after the season ended.
