Manchester City is keeping an eye on the Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin from Benfica, as reported by the Ukrainian publication Sport Arena.

It's noted that the "Citizens" already have a successful case with the acquisition of Ederson from Benfica, who has become their long-standing number one goalkeeper. While it's unclear whether Trubin is being considered as a potential starter or as a backup to Ederson, he holds a prominent position on their shortlist.

Inter Milan is also continuing to monitor the Ukrainian, having previously attempted to acquire him a year ago.

Trubin, aged 22, joined Benfica last summer from Shakhtar Donetsk for €10 million. With the Eagles, the Ukrainian goalkeeper has played 47 matches, conceding 48 goals.

Earlier reports indicated that negotiations for a new contract with Ederson have hit a deadlock, and the Brazilian intends to leave the team.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper is currently exploring various options, and if he decides to depart the club, Manchester City will consider letting him go if they receive favorable offers for Ederson. It's been reported that Saudi clubs have shown interest in him.
