Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has treated his Instagram followers to a new enigmatic snapshot, hinting at his possible next destination on his global journey.
The footballer shared a photo of himself lying down on a plane, with a pillow featuring his own image resting on his face. In the background, a monitor displays a plane and the label “Shanghai.” It seems Lamine may have decided to squeeze in a visit to China before his vacation ends, after previously spending time in Brazil, Italy, and Spain.
Notably, Barcelona’s preseason kicks off on July 13, with the club set to travel to Asia for the first time in six years. At the end of July and beginning of August, Barça will face local teams in Japan and South Korea.
It’s also worth mentioning that Lamine Yamal extended his contract with Barcelona at the end of last season — he’ll remain a player for the Catalan club until 2031.
