Great news for the Blaugrana faithful.

Details: Today, on their X page, Barcelona announced the extension of their partnership with 35-year-old Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny.

It is reported that the contract has been extended until 2027, making it clear the club values the services of the veteran shot-stopper. Szczęsny joined Barça last year as a free agent, despite previously announcing his retirement from football.

During his stint, the Pole has already played 30 matches for the Catalan giants, proving to the world that age is just a number and that fate can bring surprises even after a career seemingly ends.

Szczęsny's transfer value is estimated at 1 million euros.

Reminder: Barcelona are looking to part ways with Ter Stegen. Inter are already preparing an offer
