Florentino Pérez to Run for Real Madrid Presidency for the Eighth Time
An upcoming Real Madrid assembly will discuss several important topics, including the future presidential election.
Details: According to Sport, the current president, Florentino Pérez, will once again run for the position. Despite being 77 years old, he has no plans to step down.
One of the items on the club's assembly agenda will be the “proposal for the election of members of the electoral committee for the period from March 29, 2025, to March 28, 2029.” It is during this period that Pérez is expected to announce his candidacy.
Reminder: The assembly will also address the club's financial matters. Last season, Real Madrid, the "Royal Club," generated over one billion euros in revenue, an increase of 230 million euros, or 27%, from the previous year.
Real Madrid lost to AC Milan in the final round of the UEFA Champions League with a score of 1-3. Former Real Madrid player Christophe Dugarry commented that perhaps Mbappé moved to Madrid at the wrong time, adding that even so, head coach Carlo Ancelotti could have made better use of him.
