Flavio Silva: It is a priviledge to be part of this Kaizer Chiefs team

You would expect Flavio Silva to be posting cryptic messages on his social media platforms.

The Kaizer Chiefs striker should also be posting notes about how poor officiating cost his side points and also denied him his fifth goal of the season against TS Galaxy.

But this is not what the Guinea-Bissau striker feels according to his Instagram story.

"I saw commitment, I saw character, I saw team spirit, I saw individual sacrifice in favour of the collective, I saw ambition and desire to win," said Silva on his IG story, posting a photo of Amakhosi team celebrating a goal.

"I saw chemistry among the players, I saw progress. It is a privilege to be part of this team."

Silva scored on Sunday for Chiefs against TS Galaxy but the goal was flagged for offside even though replays confirmed it was a legitimate strike.

It was a striker’s goal as he received a through pass from midfield, controlled and beat an onrushing Galaxy goalkeeper, Ira Tape. But the first assistant referee flagged it for offside as both teams shared the spoils.
