Five Premier League clubs have set their eyes on the Atalanta midfielder

Atalanta's Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners is not the only Bergamaschi player from mid of field who has attracted the attention of English clubs.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle are all interested in the services of Atalanta's 24-year-old midfielder Ederson
Tottenham and Newcastle, along with Juventus, have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian since before the winter transfer window, but clubs from the Premier League's historic top-four have joined the race for Ederson later.

It is added that Atalanta now have no need to organise a sale of players, because last summer the "goddess" sold Rasmus Højlund to Manchester United for 75 million euros, and also received decent sums for Jeremy Boga, Merich Demirala, Joakim Maele and Matteo Pessina.

The possibility of keeping Ederson at Bergamo is also favoured by the player's relatively long contract, which runs until the summer of 2026.
