Pyramids' Congolese striker Fiston Mayele has caught the eye of Kaizer Chiefs.
Details: According to reports from thesouthafrican.com, the Chiefs are seriously interested in signing the CAF Champions League's top scorer.
After leading Pyramids to their first African title by scoring in every round of the playoffs, interest in Mayele has soared.
However, this has made him a potentially expensive signing, with an unnamed club reportedly offering €3.5 million for the forward, making a move to Kaizer Chiefs increasingly unlikely.
It is already certain that Mayele will leave the club in this transfer window. Reports suggest clubs from other leagues are offering him a salary between $3 and $4 million, while his current wage at Pyramids stands at $1 million.
In recognition of his contribution as the CAF Champions League top scorer and one of the key reasons behind their championship triumph, Pyramids are prepared to let Mayele leave.
