Fiorentina has provided an update on the condition of their CEO, who experienced cardiac arrest

Fiorentina has released an official statement regarding the health of their general director, Joe Barone, who suffered a cardiac arrest yesterday.

Barone remains in the intensive care unit. Doctors assess his condition as stable but critical. No prognosis regarding Barone's future has been provided by medical professionals at this time.

It's known that the life of the club's general director is being supported with the help of a lung ventilator machine and other medical devices.

As a reminder, Barone fell ill at Fiorentina's hotel on the eve of the Serie A 29th round match against Atalanta. At the request of the Florence club, the match was postponed indefinitely.

Currently, Fiorentina occupies eighth place in Serie A with 43 points. In the Conference League, Vincenzo Italiano's team has advanced to the quarter-finals and will face Viktoria Plzen.
