Barcelona's current position financially is hardly a sure thing. The club is looking to optimise their squad in order to raise €200 million for new signings, and it seems we know who they can say goodbye to at the Camp Nou.

So, if Diario Sport is to be believed, Barcelona are looking for a new club for centre-back Iñigo Martinez, as he is losing out to the Catalans' current centre-backs and the player's wages are quite substantial.

Financial fair-play issues have forced the side to sign a two-year private contract, while for La Liga and other leagues the contract is a year. This is to minimise the impact of the FFP on the club's wage bill, and it is because of it that Martinez would be better off being sold, as the blaugrana would then have no obligations to the local federation.
