Finally! Yoane Wissa makes his starting debut for Newcastle and scores a goal

The Frenchman is getting back to his best form.

Details: Today, in Matchweek 19 of the English Premier League, Newcastle are away to Burnley, and it couldn't have been a better start for the Magpies.

The good news for Newcastle began even before kick-off, as Yoane Wissa was named in the starting lineup for the Magpies for the first time since his transfer.

Then, in the 2nd minute, Joelinton opened the scoring for Newcastle, and just five minutes later, the aforementioned Wissa doubled the Magpies' lead, netting his first goal in a Newcastle shirt.

Yoane Wissa joined Newcastle from Brentford in December this year for €58 million. The Frenchman missed more than three months due to a knee injury, which kept him from returning to full fitness for quite a while. However, as we can see now, Wissa is regaining his top shape.

At the moment, the score remains 0-2 in favor of Newcastle as of the 22nd minute of the first half.

Reminder: Christmas dream. Juventus want to sign Sandro Tonali
