Christmas dream. Juventus want to sign Sandro Tonali
Juventus are drawing up their plans for the transfer window.
Details: According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus' 66-year-old head coach Luciano Spalletti has informed the club's management that his dream as coach is to sign Newcastle's 25-year-old holding midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The Turin club's board is well aware of Juventus' squad issues and has already compiled a list of potential winter signings, but Tonali remains the top target.
In Turin, there isn't much hope for this transfer to go through, but the Bianconeri will still try to lure the midfielder by offering exceptional contract terms.
Tonali joined Newcastle from Milan in 2023 for €60 million. This season, Tonali has played 24 matches for the Magpies, providing three assists.
His current contract with Newcastle runs until 2028, and his transfer value is estimated at €75 million by Transfermarkt.
