Myles Lewis-Skelly is not about to give up his fight for a place in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Details: According to The Athletic, Myles Lewis-Skelly wants to stay at Arsenal and is fully focused on breaking into the London club’s first team in the upcoming season.

The player has made this decision despite recent rumors linking him with a move to Chelsea. At this moment, Lewis-Skelly is not prioritizing a club switch and is determined to prove to Arteta that he deserves a regular spot in his plans.

The Arsenal academy graduate’s main objective for the new season will be to fight for game time with the first team.

It’s worth noting that last season Myles Lewis-Skelly made 36 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, but started only five times in the Premier League. The 19-year-old Englishman’s market value is estimated at around €45 million.

Reminder: A high-profile transfer in the Premier League? Two giants pursue Arsenal academy talent.
