Real Madrid's defence finally gets back one of its most important pieces.

Details: Real Madrid have officially included Éder Militão in the squad for Sunday's LaLiga match against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Brazilian centre-back is available again after a lengthy spell on the sidelines and months of recovery.

Militão is listed among the defenders for the game alongside Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella, Álvaro Carreras, Antonio Rüdiger and Denzel Dumfries. His return gives Real Madrid another important option in the centre of defence ahead of the ninth round of the Spanish championship.

The comeback completes a long rehabilitation process. On April 23, Real Madrid announced that Militão had suffered a muscle injury to the biceps femoris of his left leg. The defender gradually worked his way back and returned to first-team training at the end of September.

Now the final step has been taken: Militão is once again available for a competitive match and could make his return against Sevilla on October 18. The game at the Santiago Bernabéu is scheduled for 21:00 CEST.

It is worth noting that Militão keeps the No. 3 shirt in Real Madrid's official squad for the 2026/27 season.
