The source reports that this morning, at the request of Lucescu's family, a meeting was held with the country's leading doctors. It was decided to continue treatment as usual, but in case his condition worsens, heart surgery and the installation of a mechanical circulatory support system known as ECMO will be necessary.
If surgery does become necessary, it will be performed by an experienced Romanian doctor currently working in France.
